I found Curation to be one of my favorite topics during this course. I love the idea of making a digital space to archive sources (articles, audio, images, videos, etc) that are avalable 24/7. I began to feel passionate about this tool, and realized that teachers should be using curation tools in the classroom. Imagine if students had access to resources from home, day or night. Imagine if the teachers and school librarian were curating their findings for lessons? Imagine if the sudents were curating their findings as well? That sounds so exciting to me. I also like the fact that students can use curations for search. That is where students will find hand picked sources... that is good stuff! I would present my argument to the principal and staff, and be willing to train teachers about using curation tools in the classroom.
